Discipleship Training School and Parenting

We are in our seventh week of discipleship training school and the Sjögren family are loving it. It definitely has been an adjustment to lead a school with our little bouncing bean of a baby! 

Ezra is almost 9 months old and has the energy and crawling abilities of a small animal! He sure keeps us on our toes. 

He is loving having so many friends to play with every day. 

This week on our school we have had the topic of Identity and freedom. It has been a joy to witness Jesus move in the hearts of so many students and see them experience what freedom from shame, guilt, fear and unforgiveness is like. 

We are excitedly prepping our students and staff for their 8 week mission trip. 

We are sending one team to the UK and are so excited to see what this group of fiery evangelistic students will bring around this nation. They are so excited to jump in and catch the wave of what God is already doing here in my nation! 

Our other team will be going to Thailand to continue the work we started last year there. Thailand is a nation hungry for God and with lots of spiritual confusion. Last year the feedback was so good from this outreach we were so excited to send another team to continue to build on relationships there. 

Outside of lectures and outreach preparations God continues to move in the midst of different nations living together in unity and tension. friendships formed across different cultures are always so encouraging to me! 

We also got to witness 3 of our students getting baptised! What a special occasion that was.

 One of the markings of this school is the healing and restoration of hearts and minds as they grow closer to Jesus and learn more about what happened those three days when he was crucified and resurrected for us.

We are so grateful for the truth of the gospel and the unwavering freedom it brings. 

15 students, 9 staff, 8 nations, 1 God.
