Discipleship training school has begun!

Guys this has been such an exciting couple of week! We have 17 trainees from around the world and they are amazing! this year the ages range from 17 to 59!

If you know me you know how much love flags so here are the nations of each of our students!

We also have a lovely staff team to serve with for our first time leading this school. We have a mix of Portuguese and english speakers since this is again a bilingual school giving opportunity to students to learn English as they learn about missions and living a life like Jesus.

This week we have had teaching about God as our father and it has been great to see the trainees gain revelation from the teaching as our wonderful teacher took them through the biblical foundation of the father heart of God. We have seen students recieve a lot of healing and breakthrough in this area and we are excited about next week as will welcome our speaker for the topic of "Sin and the cross".

Our DTS team is already bonding together so well and we are in the stages of finalizing where they will be going on outreach so we are excited to share with them where they will step into the world to be sharing the gospel and reaching the lost. I am a little bummed that I will not be able to go this year but I am very excited that it is because I will be having a beautiful baby boy instead! Jonas might be going on a pastoral visit depending on how I am doing with the later stages of pregnancy.

Another super fun part of our DTS this year is that we have 4 "Tracks" these are workshops the trainees take part in 3 times per week. They had the choice this year of Media, Barista, Carpentry (run by Jonas) or English for beginners. They are having a wonderful time learning these practical skills in a context that can prepare them for serving the nations in a practical way or setting them up for new work in the future. I love seeing them get so excited with them developing their skills and it is so precious to see all that is happening.

We are so grateful for all your prayers and support as we have been planning this school and you will be pleased to know how well it is going so far. Jonas and I truly love discipling these people and seeing God work in their hearts and speak to them about their callings. Inspiring them for living a life like Jesus and going to the nations is a joy I cannot easily explain.
