Thank you to all of you who have been investing in our journey of 2023 and continue to do so into 2024.

Last year was so rich with the beginning of our new DTS, we got to see so many young people transformed and sent out into the nations as well as the richness of living with with so many beautiful cultures!
We are really excited that we get to do it all again this year as we lead this next school. It is so exciting to think of what God is going to do and who he will bring to us!
Please join us in prayers for the right students to join our school.

We are just at the end of a lovely long break here in Sweden with Jonas family, we have been able to relax and reload already for the busy year ahead. It has been really sweet being able to spend so much time with family over Christmas and we love to reconnect with Jonas ever growing family. We also love being outdoors so getting to walk, ice fish, skate, and shoot is very therapeutic for us.
January is here which for Jonas, I and the team means we will be school planning for April. Along with our other ministries here on the base (serving practically in various ways) and of course we continue to work in our beloved pottery studio with our good friends.
Reflecting back on this past year I love to see how God uses all our experiences for good and prepares us for our futures.
I’m sure you have also experienced difficult things this year, I invite you to ask God to show you how he’s worked it together for your good and what you have learnt in the process.
I am grateful for lessons I can bring into this next step for us as we lead our first DTS together. I am sure there will be more mistakes for me to learn from and I hope to remember as we go that in when I am weak then I am strong.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9-11
Thank you so much for all your love, support and prayers and we look forward to sharing this next year with you too!
With love,
The Sjögrens
