Dear family,
It has been a while since we have updated you all, mainly due to the business of new parenting!
Ezra is the joy of our life. If you are parents you know it is a full time job. So getting to sit down to write is a challenge. Luckily I live in community so it is very common to have a friend to pass Ezra too like right now as I am writing.
Ezra has already had his first plane trip as we took him to Sweden to meet the family, he is already a keen flyer and only at 3 weeks old!
I (Beth) have been enjoying maternity leave spending my days looking after our beautiful little bean.
I really do feel so blessed to be living in community here as I am never alone and I am surrounded by the support of many friends and many other parents. Also Jonas is never far away and often brings him into work too. Me and Ezra spend a lot of time over at the cafe catching up with our friends and getting little bits of work done.
Meanwhile Jonas faithfully serves in property services keeping our buildings maintained and ensuring we have hot water!
He has also taken on a role working in the cafe which he is loving, getting some variety to his week.
Both of us have started planning next years April DTS and continue to meet with our staff (and pray for new staff) weekly to pray and seek The Lord on what he wants our next DTS to look like.
Please continue to pray we receive the right staff and students for the year according to his plan.
Ezra is currently the star of the community here as he is passed around often making many friends in our gatherings and offices. He growing fast and I know he will be a great student on our next school! WE even joined in the school of frontier mission for a few lectures so he is already learning about culture and language. (link here if you want to know more about this school: https://ywamharpenden.org/sofm/ )
We have also started attending the pottery again, whom we have dearly missed mainly for our darling community there who we love to be with. Ezra is already learning all about the complexity of ceramics.
If you haven’t met our son please do come over and visit us for a cup of tea and a cuddle. if you are in another country then give us a face time call or book a trip!
With so much love,
Beth, Jonas and Ezra
